Climate depends on elevation

Nepal is split up into three parts in terms of climate Himal (mountain), Terai (Lowland area), and Pahad (Hilly area)

In the southern part, which is called Terai it is very hot and humid

The northern part is called Himal region and it is very cold because of the mountains.

The middle part is moderate temperature. The middle part is called Pahad.
