One tourist attraction in Nepal is Lumibini. Lumbini is the birthplace of Siddhartha Gautam Buddha. Gautam Buddha was born in the MayaDevi temple which is located in Lumbini. Lumbini is located in the south central Terai of Nepal. It is located in the Rupandehi district.

The main tourist attraction is Mount Everest. It is famous for its height (It is the tallest mountain in the world!)and located in the northern part of Nepal. People go there to climb it or to see the beautiful view. They also like to trek. It is 8,848 meters tall!

The Boudhanath Stupa is another tourist attraction located just outside of Kathmandu. This is one of the largest stupas in the world! This stupa is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.The stupa had minor damage during the 2015 earthquake but it is still in good condition and still can be visited.

Davids falls is a fall that is very beautiful.The water in this fall comes from the Fewa Tal (lake) flowing to the Seti. The water goes into a hole and disappears! Davids Fall is in the gorge of the Seti River. This waterfall is all natural! It is known for its natural beauty.

Thamel is another tourist attraction. It is known for its nightlife. Thamel is made for tourists. You can buy little trinkets and souvenirs that is rare to find in the U.S such as rice paper
